§ Grade 12 students were given photo information during the assembly on December 9, as well as classroom visits on Tuesday December 20, 2011 (Day A, Block 2).

§ Pictures will be taken by Lifetouch

§ Pictures will be used for Senior Class composite and the 2011-12 Yearbook

It is each graduand’s responsibility to book a photo appointment and ensure their picture is part of the Grad composite 2012!

Booking Appointments:

§ Will take place online via EventIQ

§ Online booking will begin at 9:30 a.m. on January 9, 2012

§ January 9-17, 2012 (Early Bird Fee)

§ January 18-February 1, 2012 (Regular-Late Fee)

 

Online Payment Information:

§ School ID number is required

§ Mastercard or Visa payment is required in order to book

*A $10 late fee will be charged for all photo appointments or

   gown orders made after January 17, 2012 at 11:00 p.m.

 

Grad Sayings:

§ Information regarding Grad Sayings was distributed during the assembly as well as during classroom visits.

§ Students will enter their Grad Saying on the computer during their photo appointment.

§ March 6-8, 2012 from 12:00-12:30 p.m.

 

Retakes Appointments - Art Gallery:

§ March 12-13, 2012 from 12:00-12:20 p.m.

Graduation Fashion Show:

 

§ Wednesday March 14, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. in Main Gym

§ Grade 12’s will model clothing provided by local retailers

§ A Silent Auction will be held

§ All proceeds will be directed towards graduation

 

Commencement & Awards Ceremony:

 

§ Friday May 25, 2012 at 7:00 p.m.

 Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium.

§ Graduands must arrive between 5:00-5:30 p.m.

 

Eligibility for Commencement:

In order to participate in Commencement, students must:

 

§ be a student in good standing

§ have an attendance record of 85% or better

§ all assessments must be completed

§ complete high school diploma requirements

§ achieve 100 credits by the completion of Summer School 2012

 

Any student with concerns should meet with their assistant principal

immediately.

 

Commencement Tickets:

§ Each graduand will be given up to 2 tickets for family/guests

§ Tickets will be ordered during online photo appointment bookings and must be done by February 1, 2012 at 11:00 p.m.

§ There will be a replacement charge of $5.00 per ticket

 

Special Seating Arrangements:

§ Special seating arrangements required for Commencement (wheelchair access, translators, etc.) must be indicated when ordering tickets online

 

Graduation Banquet/Dance:

§    

§ Saturday, May 26, 2012 at Shaw Conference Centre

§ Doors open at 6:00 p.m., speeches begin at 6:45 p.m.
